Where can I get the best prices on mattresses in the Atlanta area?
By fthomas | April 20, 2009
I need to buy two full mattresses for my twins’ new beds. Is there any outlet store? I lived in DC for fifteen years – there was a store that sold previously used (sanitized) hotel mattresses for cheap. Anything like that in ATL?

I know the place you are thinking about in the DC area. It is in College Park, MD. And the stuff there is *very* cheap, in both meanings of that word.
I don’t know of anything quite like that in Atlanta, but Mattress Barn sells a lot of seconds and returns, so it might be the closest thing:
Mattress Barn
1240 Old Chattahoochee Ave NW
Atlanta, GA
(404) 351-6760
Also, watch for “hotel liquidation” sales. You can get really inexpensive mattresses there. Hotel Content Liquidators is one place that runs these sales.
Hotel Content Liquidators
5508 Peachtree Industrial Blvd.
Chamblee, GA
(770) 451-4008
I hope this helps. Good luck!!

Please don’t buy a used mattress for your children. They are a serious health risk.
I would recommend two stores. The Original Mattress Factory or Macy’s. When Macy’s has a mattress sale the prices are really low.
