Sounds to me as you have more serious problems than a too-soft mattress (fibromyalgia is what I&#039;m thinking -- the pain you describe upon waking sounds like you never moved into REM sleep).  Even over the holidays, I&#039;m sure you can fit in a visit before your return period expires.</description>

		<description>I think you need a tempur mattress (one that moulds to your body shape and then springs back up once you move).
Also, the amount of pain you are in suggests it&#039;s not a mattress problem, but a nerve problem within you. Perhaps you are lying in such a fashion that one of your nerves is being compressed?
The best way to find the right mattress for you, is to lie on it and slip your hand palm flat behind your lower back. Your hand should be snug behind your back. If you can move it too much, the mattress is too soft. No movement and the mattress is too hard.
By the way, having too hard a mattress can cause pain too!
