memory foam?

i bought a 2″ memory foam matress topper..it was the “mem cool” meaning is doesnt get as hot….but i really was wanting to get a 3″..so i was wondering if i bought a 1″ and put it under my 2″…..would it feel like like a 3″…because in the end 2+1=3
or because the 2″ is the “cool” and the 1″ isnt…dose it matter that they arent fused together, or will they work cohesively?

No idea…but I do know that 2 plus 1 = 3 !
