Also memory foam is not dust mite free. The only mattress out there that is hypoalerginic is latex. It does the same this as memory foam with out the sinking feeling. You could even set it to different settings for the person next to you. They are amazing and I never slept that well since we got it. -(It is the one that Lindsay Wagner advertises on TV... I had horrible back problems from my regular spring mattress (i'm 26) and now I sleep like a baby. My sister bought her topper 8" thick from walmart and she also loves hers! If you are going to spend the money I would go with the whole mattress....It takes a little getting used to, but in the long run it is soooo worth every penny! Mine came with a 10 year warranty, buy I can see it lasting way longer than that! I also put a feather bed on top of that and it is like sleeping on a bed of clouds every night!
