Just got a new matress with memory foam and It’s hot.any suggestions?

So my husband and I bought a new matress and we don’t like it because of the memory foam. It’s hot on our backs and makes you sweat during the night….anyone have this problem and know what to do to fix it?

Unfortunately that is the nature of this non-porous material. If you can’t return it, the only thing I can suggest is buying a good natural fiber mattress pad. But I say return it and get the Sleep Number. I have a friend that has it and I thought I died and went to heaven when I laid on it.

Put on a cotton mattress cover and turn the heat way down.

That problem has prevented me from buying one of those. I suggest you check out Eddie Bauer or LL Bean for a mattress topper that has more natural materials.
