I want to buy a double mattress that can be folded. Any suggestions?

I often have guests coming over and would like to buy a mattress(preferably double) that can be folded and put away. Which is a good place to buy it from and which brand? I dont want to spend more that £60 but want something that will be comfortable and will last. I have been searching over the internet but haven’t found anyhting.

Try looking at futon mattresses. They can be folded.

Hi,
we had the same trouble with guests turning up and staying short term! I’d say a futon would do the job, BUT, if like me you haven’t got the room go for a double inflatable mattress, we got one 3 years ago, it takes up hardly any room is quick to inflate and is still as good as new!

If you purchase a mattress that can be folded in half then you replace the comfort with storability(is that even a word?). A mattress like that is thin and similar to a roll away bed mattress. Those are terrible to sleep on.
I’ve seen bed frames that have a twin mattress on top and space below for the other twin that pops out and up to make a queen mattress. Of course you have a small gap in the middle.
How about a nice air mattress?
