How to buy a mattress.can it be more confusing?
By fthomas | May 31, 2009
So, we realized we need a new mattress. A serious “grown up” mattress, not some knock off for $500. I’ve heard of the major brands (Sealy, Simmons, Serta), but now that I’m trying to research them, it makes my head spin.
No two stores seem to carry the same models. Macy’s has a Simmons Beautyrest Classic “Felicia Ltd.” while Sit n’ Sleep has the Simmons “Frasier River” model. Are they the same mattress underneath with a different style pillow top?
Anyone know of a decent site that reviews mattresses or have suggestion about how to tackle this? I know we have to try them out, I’d just like to educate myself first.

Buying a mattress cannot be confusing as long as you know what type of mattress you want to buy. I would suggest you go for reviews that’s what I did.
