Fix sagging mattress?
Question by matt: Fix sagging mattress?
I have a bed that has foam on top and it seems that its starting to sag or leave an imprint in it after a few years. This happened to me before and I was able to have the mattress taken back without an issue. The problem is that they only do this once, so I tried a new different mattress and I’m seeing the same results.
I wake up in the morning and usually have really stiff back pain due to sleeping on the thing. I found that if I stick a wedge pillow in in I can stop some of the tightness and pain the following morning.
Does anyone have any recommendations on how to fix or stop the back pain? I was thinking about getting a mattress topper, but wasn’t sure if that would work or where to start with it.

Have more sex on that bed, and your mattress will even out.

Lose some weight Matt. That will help.I got a topper for mine. Not because it was sagging but it just wasn’t thick enought.Worked out for me.
If it’s a two sided mattress you can flip it over. If it is isn’t, you can still spin it around so your head is where your feet were. That may help a bit. If neither of those two work then it’s time for a new mattress. Fixing it isn’t really an option.
