does ikea really have good mattresses?

im looking to buy a mattress and the simmons beautyrest is really comfy but over 1000 dollars! someone told me ikea made good cheap ones, does anyone have one? or can anyone reccomend other good mattresses that arent in the thou range? thanks!

I’d rank Ikea’s mattresses at about a 3 out of 10. Quality of sleep is so important – I’d bite the bullet to get a good one that will last.
I think that there are two things (3 for women) that we should never scrimp on: a good mattress, good shoes, and good bras.

I have a sealy set of mattresses that are good quality and not that expensive, I purchased them at sam’s 2 years ago and they’re still comfy like the first day. I payed $500 and something for the queen mattress and the box spring and the mattress is pillow top.
