Do I need to use the pad that my memory foam topper came with?
By fthomas | March 17, 2009
question is pretty self-explanitory, but I bought a 2 inch memory foam matress topper that came with a white zipper pouch / pad. Do I need to keep my foam in this? I find it too hot to sleep, and I’d rather just put the foam directly on to of the matress, under the sheets.

The cover does two things. It keeps the pad clean and should make it cooler to sleep on. Foam is does not breath very well and will make you feel sticky as well as it will kind of pull your body hair. But if you use good sheets I don’t see why you can’t remove it.
