Ok so my first question is would you order a daybed frame online or go to a store and buy it?My second question is does the daybed in the picture below have a box spring and a mattress or just a mattress?Is it ok to just put a mattress on a daybed and not the box spring?I am on a tight budget.

That looks like its on a box spring. You can buy a one inch box spring, or jut get some 2×4′s cut and lay them vertical. if your budget is super small.you will be able to feel it through…but you dont want to put any bed without a box spring..youll fall through!

Daybeds come with a top spring unit. There is no need for a box spring. They are designed for a trundle bed to go under it for an extra bed. You can by one online. I see you are from alaska. I use to live there and I know how expensive furniture is to buy up there. I think you would be ok to buy online. Just make sure you get good quality. Good luck and have fun.
