I spent $1200 for both the mattress set and the bed...and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE it. I do have the pillow top and it is so comfortable. The mattress isn't just soft and comfortable, but it has great support. (I have constant back pain and this bed is wonderful.) I have heard that the Tempur Pedic mattresses are overrated, so I wouldn't spend the money. I was in the same dilemma as you are now between Sealy Posture Pedic and Simmons, but when I spoke to the person at Rooms To Go, they recommended Simmons and I'm very pleased.
