Anybody know about what weight ratings the plywood beds have on fold-down campers?

I know some of them with laminated/insulated bases are 1000-1200 pounds, but I’m looking at buying one with just plywood underneath the mattresses. Does it make a big difference?

    The Dealer you bought it from should know. If you bought it privately, the industry standard is 800lbs based on two people lying/sleeping side by side. The plywood under the mattress should be at least 5/8″ thick, but with additional support underneath the plywood, it’s not critical as far as thickness. Fold down sleeping surfaces are all made to exceed the “reasonable” weight they are designed to support. You should not have any problems…….Happy Camping……
